Import your own business vocabularies (also called lexicons) to create a text annotator (the official term is gazetteer) that are based on a list of Terms.
In the Business vocabularies view:
- Click on + Business Vocabulary
- Give a name to your lexicon in the popup menu
- Select your file format among csv, excel, json, skos…
- Important note: CSV file should be saved in UTF-8 format
- Import your business vocabulary
- There are 2 mandatory fields:
- identifier
- preferedForm
CSV & Excel format:
- Use the predefined value and standard column names as much as possible
- A simple sample below in Excel format
- Once all terms have been imported:
- Go to the Terms tab to search and browse all terms of the vocabulary
- Next step is to build a gazetteer
